Album Notes
Dina Fanai has performed throughout the world as a vocalist, songwriter and original composer, and as a featured singer with the with the Arena Rock Sensation "Trans-Siberian Orchestra". She has written and produced for Universal Records USA and Columbia/Japan and has received grants and awards from The Songwriter's Hall of Fame and the National Endowment for the Arts as well as having led improvisation and chamber music workshops at the Juilliard School. Recent engagements include Lincoln Center's Meet the Arist's Series, Lincoln Center Real to Real Festival as well as her own Visions series, which she has curated at most of New York's top venues. Continuing to receive enthusiastic reviews by magazines nationwide, Dina Fanai is often compared to artists as diverse as Sara Brightman, Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush. As recently appointed The Director of Music Ministries of The Cor Chrisi Institute (an organization created under the direction of the late Mother Teresa of Calcutta) and through countless benefit performances and charity events, she continues to perform and produce concerts and recordings to inspire the process of peace in the world.
