Album Notes

12 electrical songs combining pop music and distorted melodies evoking dusty streets, prohibited women and “alibis to make scrap iron of”. Freak’n’Roll would be Robert Rodriguez’s favourite soundtrack rather than Sergio Leone’s. Texts are not engaged, but ironic, teasing, and amusing. Music is definitely catchy and exceptionally played, based on light easy rock melodies standing out for their.didascalic function. With this work, the music band “Fanali di Scorta”, at that time in a 4 member formation, put their music under the spotlight of the Italian underground scenery, thanks for their unique Folk Rock music, moderately coloured with Funky and Low-Fi accents.
