Fantasia is an all-girl rock band located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Their hard edge style transcends depth and dimension with insightful lyrics,
jammin' guitar riffs and a heavy groovin' rhythm section.
Fantasia is sisters Kelly Madden on vocals, Heather Madden on drums,
Barbara Genetin on guitars and Elan on bass.

Fantasia just finished recording their new CD "ROCKS,"
and is performing live all over the Bay Area.

Fantasia live leads you through a wide array of original material, electric
and acoustic. From the turbulent sound of "Something Better," to the
seductive "Black Cat Stroll," Fantasia beckons you to journey and explore the
musical possibilities with the smokey psychedelia of "Traveler's Road" and
the socially relevant "Peace and War."

"The Fantasia girls take a long hard look at the retro scene and take their
lead from the likes of Zeppelin, Purple and Hendrix though wrap it up with
female sheen and 21st century guile," says Glorydaze e-magazine.

Fantasia has played with national acts such as Thin Lizzy and Korn, and has
appeared on local TV shows including San Francisco's Reality Check.
Collaborated on Jane's Addiction's "Dave Navarro's online recording "Shoot."
Fantasia frequents local venues such as Blake's in Berkeley, SF Haight Street's Club Milk,
The Edge in Palo Alto and Fairfax's 19 Broadway.

Looking to the future with a growing fan base, Fantasia is armed with a new
CD, ready to reach new fans and new clubs.
