THE FANTASTIC 5 (F5) is a five piece Indie/Alternative rock band originating from the South Florida area that has been together since 2002. Their distinctive progressive-melodic sound produces the ideal atmosphere for hosting the imagery inspired by their somber lyrical content. Dead By Easter is the group’s second full length CD. The light-hearted grooves such as Running Down The Highway, from their first full length CD, Saves The Universe; Part One, give way to songs with more intense and sophisticated character - evocative of the heavier tracks from their first release. Etched within this release are plenty of examples of how these five individuals have learned to bring their independent creative influences together. Although dark, the nature of the songs sustains a sound that is immediately accessible to audiences of all types - and the memorable hooks fuel melodies that the listener finds themselves humming again and again. Fans of The Strokes, The Pixies, The Hives, Jet, The Killers, and Velvet Underground will truly enjoy THE FANTASTIC 5.
