Hafez is one of the most famous poets and philosopher sufi of Persia.
His "Divan" is worshiped by his lovers and every Persian houshold all over the world has at least on copy at home.
The Hafez ppoetry is frequently used for consultation in life decisions and aslo a council to the spirit.
Although Hafez poems have been used in very traditional singing, I decided to introduce his poetry in Western and world style Jazz and Pop music.

For Hafez ( Also calld Hafiz) the very essence of love fills the fabric of space-time like the winw that fills the cup,Through meditation and purification of the Physical and metphysical self, Hafez,the Sufi, prepares to taste the wine. The Saki, in the role of an angle like Universal bartender, serves the Sufi the wine. The drinking of the wine (Universal Love essence) fills the mind and consciousness(Soul) of the Sufi, who then moves to an ultimate dimention of sacred ecstasy and intoxication. Once at this lofty state, the Sufi sees all Universe as the reflection and manifestation of eternal and infinite love.
The Sufi become like a butterfly who's love for the candle light overruns its sense of feeling, feeling of being burned by the flames.
The Sufi at this stage wishes the essence of love and wills to become love, and thus return to home. Just like a drop of rain that destroys itself by joining the ocean.
