Open Sky is a new solo album by Debra. Just her guitar and vocals. It is astonishingly beautiful music; powerful, honest, evocative, while both simple and complex. Truly a journey...

This CD came out of completion of the RPM songwriting challenge. Debra had to write 10 songs and use previously unreleased material. She pulled a few off the cutting room floor and revived them, and generated a few out of thin air. The muse was definitely with her. It is a very unique and different sound from the high energy Blues/Funk that she plays with her band. Where many musicians are selling glam and image, Debra\'s latest CD is music in it\'s purest form.


Debra\'s prolific songwriting has been compared to that of Diane Warren. She composes in a broad spectrum of styles and genres. Her sound is not like anyone else\'s, but she has the depth and range of Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Indigo Girls, and Jewel. Enjoy.
