Album Notes

The Farstar is a band from Dallas, Texas influenced by both noise and pop.

The group’s music has been receiving rave reviews, establishing airplay and winning over audiences. The band's music is featured in various compilations, samplers, podcasts, independent films and commercials.

When not playing live, the band is hard at work developing and recording compositions to follow up their debut album “Broken Down and Wandering”. These songs have been released in 2008 on the “Back to Life E.P.”. A new full-length album is being recorded and is due out in 2009.

The band has shared the stage with major and regional acts performing at numerous showcases, festivals, radio sponsored shows and charity functions. The FARSTAR hopes to bring joy to both your ears and eyes soon!

The FARSTAR's line up is as follows: Shannon Barrett (vocals, keyboard, guitar), Zech Lumpkin (guitar, backing vocals), Chris Hathcock (guitar), Michael Maney (bass, keyboard, guitar, percussion) and Lance Lindsey (drums and percussion).
