Fast Freddie Fourier and the Transforms struggled to get anyone - anyone at all - even band members - to remember what the name of the band was and why it was both funny and appropriate - since their first gig under that name in March 2001. If a single promoter ever actually spelled the name correctly between then and the last Fast Freddie gig in 2005, we don't remember it.
In 2002, a four song EP, 'Bush of Thorns' was recorded and self-released. Featuring Brian Hedemann on drums and Kevin G Davy on trumpet, the EP also had Alero on vocals which are basically far better than Fast Freddie's and are pretty much there to show him up. He hopes he got away with it.
Fast Freddie has subsequently started using his real name again and is currently recording new music under the slightly less silly name 'Fit and the Conniptions', all of which is also available on CD Baby.
