Fatal Attraction rised through the ashes of a Funk-band called Kiwi, in Sweden, at the beginning of the '90s. After some line-up changes and the tragic loss of the first guitarist, finally the line-up was completed at the end of 1993 with guitar-player Thomas Nilsson, bass-player Magnus Pettersson and keyboardist Patrik Eriksson getting on board. In 1994 the band was contacted by the Swedish record-company High Rock Records who showed interest in their music; the result was the amazing debut-CD "End Of Regulation Time", recorded in a one year-time with real live-strings, real live-brass and real live 25 elements choir! The album got great feedback from most of the Rock-media and got good sales in Europe and especially Japan. In 1995 Fatal Attraction was selected among 250 european bands from a US record-company called Showcase Records in order to make a Promotion-record reserved only to people in the business in the USA (TV, Radio, Press, labels, etc.); that resulted in an invitation to make a full promotion tour for 2 weeks.
In early 2000 the band started recording the new album at the "H&W Studios" and meanwhile doing some gigs at Swedish television and radio in Sweden, Norway and Finland. In 2002 the album was completed and a new record-deal signed with italian label Adrenaline Records. The story is far from the end yet...
- Amazing come-back album for the premier swedish AOR/Rock band Fatal Attraction
- An ultra-melodic, "classy" and hi-tech music that reminds the classic sound of bands like TOTO, ASIA, STYX, SURVIVOR, FOREIGNER and MR. MISTER!!!
- Typical swedish melodies, first-class musicianship, astonishing songwriting
- "Simplicity Rules" follows the successful debut-album "End Of Regulation Time" that placed strongly the band into the japanese and european market
- Top-notch production: recording/mixing at the "H&W Studios", mastering at "Cutting Room", Stockholm, Sweden
