ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Fr. Frank Perkovich of Chisholm, Minnesota styled his own version of the Polka Mass - popularizing it and taking it to a higher level throughout America. He took the Polka Mass to such places as Detroit, Milwaukee and Las Vegas. In 1983, Father Perkovich and his entourage had the experience of a lifetime, celebrating the Polka Mass on the high altar of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican before Pope John Paul II. His recording of the Polka Mass is considered by many to be the top-selling polka album of recent decades.

Fr. Perkovich has also authored his biography , "DANCING A POLKA TO HEAVEN", with the story and history of the life and ministry of Fr. Perk.

A one hour presentation, in video or DVD format, is now available of the life and times of Fr. Frank Perkovich the Polka Mass priest, in addition to "The Original Polka Mass" recorded live and available in VHS or DVD format. You may access additional biographical information at www.rangenet.com/~frperk.
