Born in 1950 Father Jim is a songwriter-singer, christian performer, air force Vietnam veteran and Roman Catholic priest. He is pastor of two rural parishes in West Virginia and travels extensively giving concerts, retreats, parish missions and days of recollection.
"You've Got A Friend" is his second-in-a-series of recordings with both spoken reflection and vocalizations of both original songs and contemporary religious and secular songs. The theme "friendship" invites the listener to relax and contemplate their friendship with God and others.

Excellent piece of meditative music.

Father Jim has kept his tradition of providing wonderful, inspirational and meditational music. He uses secular songs in a non-secular way. He uses religious songs in truly great reflective ways. Five stars does not give this CD the praises it needs.
