Album Notes

This explosive Latin bombshell has concocted her own brand of 'Chick Rock'. She kicks off her debut album with the contagious single 'Out of Control', and then romps through 'Babe Come on' and 'The One' which feature a volatile mix of Rock & Pop. 'Fortune Teller' is a fusion of Rock with Arabic and Asian sounds very cleverly woven together to get that album consistent sound.

Half way through the album in 'Hard to be your Woman', the hard rock takes a rest and you are whisked into to a melancholy state in an intimate acoustic ballad.

Winding up the English tracks of the album are the Punk and classic Rock tracks 'Femtosecond' and 'It's Silly'.

Appropriately taking you into the Spanish tracks on the album is the Cha Cha Rock track 'Without You'.

The final 3 tracks on the album are Spanish versions of 3 of the English tracks. 'Out of Control' becomes 'Confusion', 'Hard to be your Woman' becomes 'Que Dificil es Quererte' and 'The One' becomes 'Yo Quiero Ser'.

As a bonus, this album features a 'Fortune Teller Remix' which is a club remix of the studio version.

I have been listening to this Album for about 6 months. I had the privilage of getting a copy before it went digital. I am still listening to it and it is right there on my itunes in and amongst Greenday, The Subways, Metallica and it does not get old. Confusion instantly gets hold of you and just gets better. I dig the more upbeat tunes like It's Silly and Femtosecond and I really turn up the volume on Fortune Teller! It kicks A@#!!!!!! Buy it! listen to it! and then listen to it some more!
