Album Notes

(Import)

Third solo album by Shane Faubert is kind of a summing up of all of the styles he has dabbled in throughout his career, from the garage pop of the "Run Better Run" era Cheepskates (2 songs performed by that original lineup!) to the more introspective music he has made as his career went on. Guest artists include Television's Billy Ficca, Lauren Agnelli and Dave Rave. Listen to the Spectorian "Let Me Love You" or the incredibly sad (but universally true) "More Than This" to get an idea of Faubert's dead-on singing and songwriting skills, "Sew Long" to maybe get an inkling of how his taste for the slightly off-kilter has kept him from being an out and out star.
