Album Notes

FBS-BIO

Like a Phoenix rising out of the ashes from Springfield, OH, Fight Before Surrender was formed out of failed projects and a need for solid, hardworking punk rock late in December of 2002. Over the years, they have defined the term "hardworking," by covering almost a million miles across America, touching 29 states and playing over 300 shows. While bringing more energy and excitement than a two-year-old hopped up on candy, FBS destroys eardrums with hard-hitting punk rock through the influences of Motorhead, GBH, The Exploited, and Cock Sparrer. Even with member changes and personal heartache threatening to infect the band with a short life, nothing seems to slow this band down. Their name, Fight Before Surrender, is the best description for this band.
Current band members are: Josh, Oki , Jay, and Nate.

Words From an FBS Roady
author: Zach Distruct
HAving known the band since 2003 its easy to tell you that this album is heavier and faster than the first album They Hate You. While the first album deals with the daily punk rock things like drugs and pain and violence in a a Christians eyes and the search for more meaning that can oly be found in Christ, the new album deals with personal experiences and a faster hard hitting revelation that the Punk scene is brain washing you in the song Brainwahed that starts out with the view thar most punks have that the church and Christians are brain washing you and that the "Christians" see themselves as better than those who arent. But ends with the statement that we follow a God who is there fore us and we have decided for ourselves and the world is the ones who are brainwashed. This new album is a more ministry driven album and is a amazing piece of fast hard hitting balls to the wall punk rock.
