Kristin Barnes can sing the blues as convincingly as she can make you feel like getting together to dance. The lead singer on this CD, she'll have you humming the tunes by the end of the CD. Her rendition of Consider This is reminiscent of Whitney Houston.

Chris French's vocal delivery on the song Gratitude will make you sit back and smile with gratitude. Darrell Metcalf's instrumentals on I Am a Twig will make you think of a Dan Fogelberg winter song and picture yourself on a sun-slathered ski slope.

Full-Circle Learning music was originally written to help educators present music to students that helps them explore their own convictions and present them to the world, to meaningfully apply their creative gifts in service to humanity. In the process, the artists found that adults loved the songs as much as the youth did. Who knew?

The songs were written and produced by author/songwriter Teresa Henkle Langness, who varied the styles to appeal to a broad audience. In offering suggestions to the talented arrangers/singers/musicians Chris French and Darrell Metcalf, she included R & B, folk rock and mellower songs with choral potential. All are included and have been choreographed and sung by school choirs to the delight of audiences. Chris's meticulous attention to detail in his interplay of instruments and Darrell's gentle touch inspired even more passion out of the already masterful range of styles vocalist Kristin Barnes can access. The additional karaoke tracks may prove helpful for school choirs or for background music.
