Bill & Brenda owners of Featherfoot Music discovered music in August 1969 from Woodstock. They can’t say “at” Woodstock, because they couldn’t get there, traffic was backed up for miles and miles. It was not only a music revolution for those there, but for a lot of us during those times. It inspired Bill to buy his first guitar. He got it at a thrift shop for $10 bucks. That was a lot of money for him back then, when gasoline for his motor cycle only costs .35 cpg!
Now we fast forward to today’s electronic online music world where the CD is virtually dead. We recognized that we needed to move our music into the new age too, so we developed Featherfoot Music, which is not a Band in the technical sense. We are a collection of talented songwriters (both lyrists and composers), who can take advantage of local talent but also music professionals from almost anywhere on the planet. This allowed us to place songs on radio stations overseas where the market is easier to break into and we could get our songs on the ECMA charts.
Nashville is known as Music City and we found in this new online age it was possible to find and work with many talented people like Billy Anderson in Nashville to produce’s demos for us and also Jay Speight from Acoustic Vocal who also helps with many facets of our music production. Currently Featherfoot Music produces its own music for a majority of its songs in their studio in Orlando, FL. But depend on many talented vocalists (many from Nashville). So Thanks to Anna Owens, Gina West, Jamie Bowles, Janine LeClair, Jared Eaves, Rusty Tabor, Lori D. Hall, Chris Burke, and Jay Speight (all from Nashville) for some super vocals and also to Diane Gee in Ohio and Annie Rodriquez and Kim Hightower for vocals from Orlando, FL.
