Album Notes

Feature Presentation is a high energy indie rock band from Manteno, IL. Having been together for a little over 3 years, their hard working DIY ethic, incessant touring, including slots on Warped Tour and Cornerstone, and selling out (4,500 units) of their first EP ultimately helped to ink them a deal with our Los Angeles based Independent record label One Iron Records. With the help of producer Enoch Jensen (KaddisFly, Amber pacific, Boy Sets fire, Number 12 Looks Like You), the band is gearing up to take on the world with thier stunning debut release "To You, The Past, And The Questions Left Unanswered."

9.5 out of 10 !

Feature Presentation is one of those bands who have a unique feel to them. You can never really put your finger on it, but something about them just sticks out. You can feel their talent seeping through this new record; but it seems they may have limited themselves.
When I think of the vocals, it'd probably be New Found Glory meets Senses Fail. You are able to hear the pop-punk melody with some alternative roughness. The vocals project and stand out on this album. This cd starts out strong. They show good duel vocal work. There's a strong drum beat. They don't seem to use as much vocal range as they could, and at time, the vocals can be hard to understand. However, the lyrics are beautifully put together and laced over the talented work of Feature Presentation. The second track "Februrary", stands out to me the most, It has a fast and jumpy vibe to it. The vocal work on this track is absolutely amazing. It is a very different feel than the rest of the cd. This song gets harder toward the middle, and then as it nears the end, builds up, let's down, builds up, let's down repetitively.

The following track "Change Of Pace" Is also one of my favorites, it is a bit faster from the rest of the songs, and showcases some mellow screams for the first time on CD. They should've had more screaming in some of the songs, I actually like it alot. Right off the bat I can easily tell this song is going to be a fan favorite.

The cd flows together nicely, It seems as though you could put all the songs together and listen as a beautifully creative 37-minute song. There is a head-bobbing beat throughout the cd. The cd ends strong with the extensive vocal range on the last song "Where To Begin". This song is a powerful catchy pop-punk song, and is a great ending to an amazing cd.

This CD is huge for FP, they've worked long and hard and it def. shows. i know we're not supposed to talk about the artist in general, but they're all great guys and they care about the music they make. if i had to listen to just a few CD's for the rest of eternity, this would easily be one of them.
