Album Notes

Jason Feddy is a British singer/songwriter, recently relocated to Southern California. His highly emotive songs embrace a variety of musical styles : think Dave Matthews meets Neil Finn... At shows and in the studio, Jason sings and plays his songs with an intense passion and plaintive clarity of voice
rarely heard in today's throwaway pop culture.
Back in the UK, Jason made 4 independently released albums "Fish On The Moon" (1996), "Jason Feddy" ('98)
"I Thought The Moon Was Meant For Me" ('99), "Is This Thing On? (2003)" and "Connected' (08) & has toured with
The Cranberries, Neil Young, David Gray, Christie Moore, Paul Young, John Martyn, Lisa Loeb, Ben Folds Five,
Dr Robert & Tears For Fears to name but a few.

Moving and entertaining as a solo artist and now with his excellent and powerful band -
Bob Hawkins - Guitar, Evan Stone - Drums & Brad Benstock, Bass.

Here are 2 quotes from London's Time Out magazine...
"Jason has been singing and playing acoustic guitar on the northern music circuit for some years, his songs of life and love being performed with spectacular energy. He has previously played in a band 'Riverman', but his solo performances are by far the most impressive.
Very few solo performers can produce such a full and energetic sound as Jason does, playing his guitar to within an inch of its life."
"His acoustic playing is exceptional, and his voice so expressive, so controlled, so in tune, he can even sing with a guitar pick in his mouth!"

I just saw Jason again this year at the NAMM songwriters round, and let me say he stood out big time again.he did a song called "Bridge to the island" when we were walking in to the Hotel i remembered him from last NAMM show his voice and writing are so distinctive, and he's funny but reminds me of a cross of Jude Cole and Neal Finn. Jason submit your songs to http://www.ironworksmusic.com/

A long time follower of Jason's back to the Blues Bar days. A great collection of tracks that capture Jason's style perfectly (perhaps the CD that is the best at capturing this). Sad its only the fourth outing on CD but worth the wait. Come back sometime for another Sunday afternoon session!

Saw Jason at his farewell gig on Sunday 18th Sept 2005 a the blues bar. This was as good as anything live i've ever seen. The Blues bar is a very intimate bar and the atmosphere was electric. This man deserves it all.....
