Album Notes

Dutch progressive metal band FeedForward has been around since 2002. During these 6 years the members have created their own unique style, which can be defined best as a mix between progressive rock and melodic metal. However, don’t expect classical voice parts or bombastic choirs. Instead you will get recognisable vocals and subdued harmonies. In spite of the sometimes complex arrangements, the songs are accessible for a very large audience. Key roll in this is female vocalist Biejanka. With her clear voice she speaks to the attention of a lot of people, also those who are not familiar with their music.

The band has managed to build up a big fan-base in the Netherlands, which shows by the increasing number of concerts they have played the last couple of years. These gigs included performances with The Gathering, Epica and Enchant. The on-stage performance full of energy and intensity accentuates the power of their songs.

At the end of 2006 FeedForward recorded their full length debut album “Barefoot & Naked”, which really shows the many sides of this band. The album contains catchy rock songs, progressive pieces, pounding metal, but also epic songs and even a piano ballad.

In the beginning of 2007 the band released and promoted “Barefoot & Naked” independent from a supporting label, which resulted in a wave of positive reviews from all over the world. In the meantime the album and reviews were brought to the attention of Rusty Cage Records and after a few meetings FeedForward signed a record deal with RCR for the re-release of their album, which will be released May 13th 2008.

The authenticity makes them credible. A band appreciated for their music!
