“Feeling Fiona” is a unique collection of songs, showcasing the songwriting talents of one of Australia’s most respected songwriters, Fiona Kernaghan.

The album draws musical soundscapes from around the world via artists in Australia, the UK USA and even Finland. Artists include Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool/Mondo Rock); Vika & Linda; Hughie; Tania Kernaghan; Erik W (1927) and more.

The guidelines were simple – choose of Fiona’s songs and do it however you want, with whom ever you want. A scary position for a songwriter to put themselves in … but naturally, Kernaghan was curious to see how the artists put their own spin on the songs.

The result is alive with energy & emotion, sometimes intense, sometimes beautiful and fragile … you are simply “Feeling Fiona”.

Fiona Kernaghan has written over 10 number one singles and had over 100 songs recorded from everyone from Tina Arena to Lee Kernaghan. She has also worked with A list names including Andrew Farriss (INXS); John Five (Marilyn Manson) and Howie B (Backstreet Boys). As an artist, her debut album, “Cypress Grove”, was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the 90’s and earned her an ARIA Award finalist spot for Best New Artist.
