Album Notes

Feels Like Home, an acoustic group which hails from Walla Walla, Washington is a toe-tapping, hand-clapping musical phenomenon, hosting original songs, soft rock of the 60's and 70's, with a twist of country and bluegrass.

This is the 2nd CD that Feels Like Home has honorably listed with CDBaby. In 2001, Feels Like Home produced its first CD entitled: "Home Cookin'", featuring the bonus song: "I Love Walla Walla Onions."

Six years later, Feels Like Home produced it's second CD entitled: "Second Pouring"; including the bonus song: "Walla Walla Wine Taster Me", a song based on the 60's hit: "Little Ole Wine Taster Me" by Robert Mitchum. Michael David of Feels Like Home, merely re-worked the words to fit the flavor of the vast wineries that fill his home town of Walla Walla, Washington.

Second Pouring features the 4 orginals from Michael David (Johnson) the lead singer and guitarist of Feels Like Home. Audrey Renaud, back up vocalist and guitarist also has an original song entitled: "No Other Man."

Trudy Ostby, the groups fiddle & Violinist, wrote the harmony to an orginal song her friend, Malinda Pankl, wrote entitled: "Blackberry Mountain." Her husband, Howard Ostby provides percussion and harmonies on several songs. Ralph Van Deurs kicks up the bass and adds his guitar skills to JD Souther's song: "Last in Love."

Louis (Val) Valiente provides the fingertaps and washboard to give a unique sound to Feels Like Home. All in all, this CD "Second Pouring" is a well-balanced piece of musical art which we feel you will like as well, or even better, then their 1st CD.

Also, a special thanks to Clarence Steel who added his percussion and did the recording, mixing and mastering of this CD. Check out our new website @ www.feelslikehomeband.com/ Enjoy

Being a child of the 70's, I love this band. I have had the opportunity to hear this group on different occassions around Walla Walla.
