If you like big band music here is that sound in an 7-piece combo. There is a mix of sweet and swing, boogie-woogie and shades of retro-swing, with a songbird that is a perfect fit. The name is weird (I would have assumed a hillbilly band) and the liner notes non-existant, but if you are old enough for big-band to be nostalgia, or younger and are finding this music as exciting as it was 70 years ago, this is a great set.

If you like early jazz and swing you will enjoy this CD. A variety of instrumental and vocal numbers, including a great rendition of Lounging at the Waldorf. Spectacular musicianship from this group. I bet the Feetwarmers are a blast to see live.
