Album Notes

One morning in the summer of 2002 as I was traveling from Knoxville, Tennessee to Chattanooga to record a couple of songs. I crossed over the bridge at the Tennessee River on Hwy. I-24 and as I was crossing the bridge, I looked down and saw a barge approaching the bridge and I said to myself, "Look out bridge, here comes a barge". A month or so earlier a barge had hit the bridge over the Arkansas River at I-40, in Oklahoma, which was a really bad thing. Then I thought about bad things happening more and more, especially the Twin Towers attack of 9/11, Sept. 2001, only 8 months or so earlier, and I thought of the many natural catastrophies happening more and more. So, I pulled my truck over at the first place I could, one of those scenic view sites, and started writing. That day I recorded 3 songs instead of 2, but this song will always have a special meaning for me, considering the way it came to me. I believe that was a Divine appointment moment in my life.
