Beautiful CD
author: Jonathan Nicholson

"First off, this is not a just another flashy guitar album. This is not about tricks, techniques, or another collection of obnoxious riffs whose only intent is to impress you with someone's technical ability. This an album of beautifully crafted music, one that can subtly come in and tickle the senses, and entrance the listener with it's natural ebb and flow. This is not "guitar music", this is music that is filled with tenderness, honesty, and beauty, that just happens to be written and performed on a guitar. The difference is that the songs themselves become the focus, and it is this devotion to the true integrity of the music that makes this one of the most personal and touching albums I've heard in a very long time."

Powerfully Nostalgic
author: Joseph Boldensmith

Solo guitar seems to me to be a genre filled with flashy techniques and displays of virtuosity that sacrifice the value of good composition. Fekete seems to have somehow avoided this and made a record that is both full of beautiful music and amazing technical prowess. The music on this album has such a powerful nostalgic quality to it that it’s not uncommon to find myself drifting into thoughts of love, family, traveling (especially driving) and nature. Fekete can somehow conjure these very specific images instrumentally. But, don’t think this is necessarily background music. The center piece of the album, “Magnolia (In Blossom),” is performed with such emotion tension that it seems as if both Fekete and the listener might burst into tears and the whole thing might fall apart.
