BOBBY FELDER AND FRIENDS “Music For Dancing”

My musical experiences in the United States Air Force Band at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC were pivotal in my career. After my discharge from the United States Air Force, I embarked upon two musical paths: One as a public school band director and university professor and the other as an entertainer. As a result, I had the opportunity to perform as a trombonist and musical arranger with many of the outstanding musicians in the Washington, DC area. However, I eventually organized my own band, which became known as “Bobby Felder and His Blue Notes”. The band has performed at numerous events, including four Presidential Balls and continue to perform annual events for a number of social and professional organiations throughout the eastern United States.

It is my hope that this CD will capture the energy and spirit of a live performance and bridge the generation gap in both range and style. The musical content incorporates jazz, blues and “go-go”. Whether you prefer to hand dance, slide, or just tap your feet, this CD will suit your listening and dancing pleasure. Hopefully, this CD will give to all of my friends and listeners as much pleasure as it has afforded me in producing it. Now, let’s dance!!
