ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“Hand Me Down God” was recorded from January to June 2010 and released during the following July in Portland, OR. All songs were written and arranged by Felecia Campbell. The album was recorded at Murgatroyd Studios where it was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by David Evan. Other musicians on this album include Mimi Bergen, Brian Veysney, and Adam Sweeney. Artist direction of the cover was taken over by Janelle Wheeler Olivarez with photos taken by Jennifer Gomez and Katy Hodges.

This particular set of songs on “Hand Me Down God” are completely autobiographical with the occasional anti-folk flare and Campbell‘s trademark lyrical orneriness. She hopes this album will inspire listeners as much as it does educate them on issues such as gender equality, domestic violence, abandonment, drug and alcohol addiction, and standing tall in a world shrouded by invisible illness.
