Album Notes

Arise is the first release from singer/songwriter/worship leader Felicia Rives. While walking through a very trying time in her life, Felicia found strength in writing down the declarations and promises of God. The end result is a powerful collection of praise and worship songs that are sure to point hearts and minds to the ever abundant grace of Jesus Christ.

The album opens up with an award-winning praise anthem entitled "To Be Praised". "Worship Him Now" is an up-tempo praise song with an urban-latin feel to it. Award winning "Wonderful" declares the glory and greatness of the name of the Lord.

"Arise", the title's selection, was birthed out of a time when Felicia constantly had to remind herself to "look to the hills" and stay out of the pit of depression. "We Adore You" is yet another award-winning worship song that is sure to be a congregational favorite.

"Beautiful" is a song that crosses cultural boundaries and ministers about how beautiful we are in the sight of God, despite how men may look at us. Telling the story of how Christ loves us so much he was willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice, "Selfless Love" is a powerful ballad backed by a gospel choir. The album ends with another powerful ballad titled "Holy" which is simply a declaration to God of His glory and greatness.

Other worship songs include "I Will Be Still" and "Great Are You" which are also directed at the heart of God. This album is sure to also minister to the hearts of those who will grab a hold of it.
