Album Notes

In the late 80's, after listening to the classic Freestyle jam "Fantasy Girl", F. Felix knew that Freestyle would become a major part of his life. He soon after began to write and produce songs as a student of Southwest High School's music technology program in San Diego, CA. During that time, he produced and co-wrote songs with Frankie Boy, Leticia, Tury Q and other aspiring local artists. After graduating from high school, F. Felix performed at car shows, local high schools and dance clubs.

In 1993, F. Felix returned to Southwest High School to write, produce and sing two tracks, "Don't cry over him" and "Heartbeat" on the schools CD project titled, "...Of An Original Persuasion", which received a good review from DMA's Gary Hayslett.

In 1995, he released an EP CD "Félix" in Spanish. That same year F. Felix also signed with Ten-Lion Records Productions in Miami, which released his first 12-inch single "Don't Cry Over Him/ Leave It All Behind". This record is under the Magic Apple Records label from Miami. A year later the 12-inch single "How Can I Believe/Color Of Love" was released under Ten-Destune Records. And now, thanks to the digital music revolution, F. Felix has produced new songs and re-released old favorites.
