Album Notes

Formed as a project band in 1995 The Speeding Ferlinghettis found a niche in the Portland Oregon music scene that was truly a breath of fresh air. Recorded at the Herbert House studios, and mixed by Dave Friedlander at the White Horse studios, the 'ghettis debut album was hailed by local critics.

Currently the boys in the Speeding Ferlinghettis have teamed up with three savvy gals to form The Ditty Twisters another Portland band. Look for the new Ditty Twisters album available soon, and in the meantime check out the 'ghettis debut album, which although recorded 7 years ago is as timeless as any album can be.
