Phil Ferrazano served with the 9th Infantry while in Vietnam. He was wounded during the Cambodian Invasion of 1970 and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for Valor Medals. He is the author of a book. "Facing The Wall: An Infantryman's Post Vietnam Memoir." The book has been an inspiration to many who have struggled with war memories and the VA system. The book also is used by Dr. Scott Fairchild, Baytree Behavorial Health, Melbourne Florida. Dr. Fairchild is a leader in helping veterans from all wars. Phil is also a singer/ songwriter who has used his talent to create a Cd that honors veterans. Most lyrics drawn from his own experiences in Vietnam and from visits to the Wall. Phil 57, lives on the West Coast of Florida, close to where he was raised. Born in Long Island New York and moved to Florida at age 11. After Vietnam he said, "There's no place like home."

Phil has appeared in many newspaper articles, radio interview,and was also featured in the magazine, "VIETNAM." Today he writes, sings, does a one man band and sings with local bands from time to time. He's often asked to sing Elvis songs. He attends veteran functions and donates to veteran organizations.
