Dmmt is a sound that is quite distinct and different to a lot of the current music on offer but...
...remains 100 percent dance-floor friendly.
The album, 'Africa Bombastic' has a clear, massive production and has been mastered to international standards.
It's jam-packed with over 78 minutes of music that varies from banging, to groovy to poppy, but it never loses that psychedelic feeling.
Careful consideration was taken to ensure that the music sounds excellent across any medium, be it hi-fi, car stereo, I-pod, club or massive outdoor rig.
Each track is a journey within itself unfolding its own story and giving the listener a real 'listening' experience.
Style: Psytrance
------------------------
Freefall Records joins the South African psy-trance explosion of exciting labels to originate from the trance Mecca of Africac Cape Town. Their first release is the debut album gAfrica Bombastich by DMMT, who have spent the last year fine-tuning their sound and have performed for every major promoter in South Africa over the last twelve months. DMMT may appear newcomers on the global trance scene, but Dave Mac & Martin Treurnich are both seasoned sonic manipulators. Dave is one of South Africafs most experienced djfs and Martin a busy session guitarist and sound engineer. Together as DMMT they offer an album jam-packed (78 mins of music) with massive tunes that seem to always ignite that gchaos buttonh on dance-floors. Itfs high energy dance music, but itfs not just beats for djfs. gAfrica Bombastich is a fully layered soundscape of four to the floor psychedelic trance delivered with a dash of sleaze and a firm touch of craziness, all underpinned by a solid groove and genuine musicality.
