Album Notes

I have begun to think of these songs as characters in a novel. You'll probably like some of them and dislike some, but my hope is you will find them interesting, engaging and somehow meaningful and moving. There's the friendly but somewhat rowdy "Alligator Stomp", who likes to have a couple beers and flirt with the girls at the local hotspot. Then there's Delores and her soon-to-be husband, the young lovers of "For You"who are happily (perhaps naively?) committed to each other. "Solstice" might be that pretty girl you know who's into auras and yoga. "Confluence" is the serious semi-intellectual - probably some kind of university professor or maybe grad student. Likes to wear turtlenecks and drives a Volvo. "Meditations" evokes the eternal presence of the Absolute as manifested in the persona of Guru Nitya Chaitanya Yati, who wrote the commentary contained therein, and who showed me enough about the true nature of life to allow me to create a good one for myself. Then there's the sincere, if overly dramatic, Latin Lover of "Una Noche" who REALLY wants to get in that girl's pants! All these characters and more await you, and invite you to create your own stories for each of them and all of them together. If you come up with some good ones, let me know and I'll put them on the website (www.fredzilla.com).

Loved It
author: Bailey M.
I really enjoyed the songs on this album. They are all very unique and I have never heard a CD quite like it. None of the songs sound alike, so there's never a dull moment. I particularly loved "Solstice" because of its great melody and beautiful guitar.

Wonderfully Diverse, Peaceful and Relaxing
author: Michelle Durante
I enjoyed this cd. Take Me Away, truly lives up to it's name. It's a warm sunny day with lemonade. Solstice is a peaceful nature walk where you can smell the sweet rain in the air. Alligator Stomp is a good time starting with your foot tapping and before you know it you are dancing in your seat. Confluence is truly poetic.
