Album Notes

FIJI. One word. Lots of gorgeous connotations...

FIJI are from Switzerland, Europe. The contrast couldn’t be greater! Alps meeting seas, sharks meeting bears...exuberance interspersed with self-analysis and kitsch with discipline: all this is FIJI. Confrontational and sexy.

In 2003, when the trio met, lightning struck: FIJI was born. A unique electropop baby mixing electronica and live performances...in French, Italian and English!
ROSY, their first album, offers an honest and detailed insight into the world of FIJI.
After the release of ROSY, FIJI performed more than 40 times in just one year. In Milano, in Locarno at the Montreux Jazz Festival, in Zürich...and there’s much more in store!

Ecclectic Electric!!!!
author: Stuart Immelman
This is what Moloko would sound like if they where trippin on a jazz Hangover-strong powerfull vocals backed by a throbbing bass of electro bliss-just the thing to make you want to throw back another martini!!!!!

AWESOME ELECTRO POWER!!!
author: Matt Davey
5 stars without hesitation! The vocalist has an amazing distinctive voice, i'd be more inclined to compare this band with Morcheeba, with a twist of electro synth pop.
