Album Notes

Filament 38 is a Cleveland Ohio based unit that was formed in 2001 as an expressive vision from Ash. Emotions and Imagery provide the driving beat for lyrics that spill out with pain and aggression. Live, Filament 38 attacks with raw energy and powerful visuals that demands the audience’s attention.

Filament 38 is now set to present their 3rd studio release. “Frail” is a 10 track EP that shows maturity and polish along with an aggression that has been lost in the electro Industrial genre. The limited run EP will be unleashed March 2010 on Chicago’s inde label –NGP+.

Filament 38 released its debut album entitled Fractured on Negative Gain in December 2002. Described as dark, gritty, and mysterious, the CD is a standalone effort. Unstable was added to the Negative Gain catalogue April 2005 and garnered the band festival appearances at Blacksun “06” and Reverence “07”. Having been in demand to perform at shows throughout the midwest, F38 has performed alongside bands such as Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Covenant, Hocico, Haujobb, E-Craft, Razed in Black, and Assemblage 23.

Frail features remixes from Interface, Caustic, Roger Jarvis of HexRx, and Encoder.
