What film hero would be complete without his counterpoint? As any movie buff can attest, light without dark makes for an unfinished, unsatisfying story. To round out its two-CD debut, electro-pop group The Filmographers tackles the shades of gray in your favorite films.

One part upbeat portishead, one part downtempo Kate Nash, Cinch Marks creates a swelling soundscape that captures the electricity of that one pivotal scene that sends your favorite film charging toward its climax.

It's the moment of truth. It's the twist in the end. It really does tie the room together.
