This CD is a piece of art, not just another CD you stick in the player from time to time.  Sarah Fimm is a sweet heart and her voice on this cd is amazing.  There is a song called Sets Us Apart on this CD, it is worth the money on its own.  But we are all lucky there is more.  Keep playing Sarah Fimm.

I have a certain appreciation for artists who can capture the spirit of true unadulterated angst, and release it into music form.  That is precisely what Sarah Fimm has done with this album.  She exhibits a brave outpouring of emotion: raw, yet sweet...and sets it beautifully against the strings, piano, and electronic undercurrents.   A purely haunting album that everyone must have!!!

I would like to put a copy of this cd in everyone's mailbox because people this talented should be known by all...no more of this britney spears shallowness.  this album has a soul to it. Red Paper Bag in particular is one of those songs that i put on repeat. i don't think this beautifully mesmerizing example of ear candy will come out of the cd player anytime soon!  If your up for something refreshing, by this CD!!

i bought cocooned because i heard that sarah fimm was like tori amos.  when i listened to the cd i immediately loved it particularly songs like after the blue, red paper bag, vahalla, and bombay cafe.  sarah is remarkable! she is able to write the most tormented love song, while she can also scream and express her misery artistically. i love sarah fimm!  everyone should purchase her cd; not only those who like tori amos's music, but just good music in general.
