Amazing songwriting, beautifully delivered. We're looking for the next CD by Fire Marshalls of Bethlehem.

  • Beauty, Like It Was Sung By Angels

This cd is a thing of beauty...genius from John Croslin and friends. Makes me wish I grew up and went to college in Austin, TX and had many happy memories of rockin' with the Reivers when they were living large on stage. "Please Don't Worry" was worth the $ by itself, jumping out of the speakers and blowing by short and sweet like an early spring breeze after the ice rain and snow have caught the freight train out of town...CD Baby rules the rockin' music mail delivery universe! I am totally impressed with the speed of service and the quality of the disc, not too mention the awesome song previews you set up. Thank you for another chapter in the Reivers legacy...the next mix cd will be so much sweeter now!

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Woooo Hooooo !!!!

I have been a huge Reivers fan for years. It is great to hear John Croslin back in action. The songs on this CD are wonderfully fresh and alive. Nice, catchy tunes with wonderful vocals. The only gripe I have is that Croslin's vocals are not loud enough. Buy this CD. You won't regret it. It is great to hear you again John! Woooo Hooooo !!!!

  • I love it

I loved The Reivers, I loved John Croslin's smart lyrics. I was gutted when they were no more. And now, here are The Fire Marshals of Bethlehem! Thank goodness! John's head and heart still shine through, and everyone else is great, too (I'm just getting to know y'all). Welcome back! Great hooks, great lyrics, great energy, great sound. I love it. I'm so happy I found you guys again!!!!! Order this CD NOW from CD Baby! =)

  • Even better than expected! A pleasant surprise.

When I first heard that members of The Reivers, The Wannabes, and Javelin Boot were together in a new band, I knew it would be good... But after several listens of the new Fire Marshals of Bethlehem album, I'm really impressed with just how good it really is. I think its mostly the quality of the songwriting that comes through and carries the album. However, that's not to say that the musicianship and playing is anything less than what you'd expect from such a group of experienced artists. If anyone familiar when any of the aforementioned bands is considering taking a chance on Songs For Housework, let this be the highest recommendation from a long-time Austinite.
