Album Notes

This EP was written by the band in 2009, this would be their first record with current drummer Brent Blackburn who really brought out a different dynamic in FLA. The title of the EP sounds brutal, but has more meaning than just gore. Limbs Bones Brains Guts is a line from the song "attack attack" and really means to give all of yourself, give everything you've got. The song "Fix Your Fix" is a classic FLA style song : fast, punky, with a touch of hardcore at the end. As for the rest of the EP the band expanded their sound with rocky half-time tempos in songs like "Attack Attack" and the aggressive almost Glassjaw-esque song "Tazer Bear". Also songs like "One In A Million" and "Told You So" have a catchy pop/punk vibe, giving way to a mainstream sound. The EP overall is a much more serious feel than the last record, especially lyrically. You can really tell that this band is growing into it's own. When asked the band described this album as "wicked wizardry, pure metal funk, super awesome, blow the shit out of your mind", sounds pretty intense if you ask me, but what do I know, i am just a talking Unicorn that does interviews!
