First Place
In the year of 1998 after bieng in an Under
ground successful band in Little Rock,AR. by
the name of Slip and Fall Natal John(founder)
decided to search out something new. Something
that would take existing elements of metal and
some of those that don't exsist in metal and
mix them together. The result being a band by
the name of First Place that is composed of
female and male vocals that both scream, sing,
rap,and do all types of punk style vocals. The
bands goal and purpose was to write good solid
songs with catchy hooks, and do it differently
than other bands had did it before. The real
challenge was to find other musicans that were
willing to do this. It was in 1998 that Natal
met Crystal Jane(Vocals,Keys),Ryan Staggs(guitar),
James Casto(bass), and Jon Rhine(drums). Since the
union of these musicans the results have been
nothing short incredible. Check it out for yourself
see if you can listen to tracks such as "Forever",
"Break Away", or "Never Give Up", without humming
them or wanting to hear them agian. The dream
continue's just like any serious muscian. The
desire to to do this passion for a living is what
drives them. Only time will tell how long it takes
this dream to become a reality.

Worth it?...Heck Yeh !!!
author: D.W. Smith
If you don't like cookie cutter music where each song sounds like the other, then this CD is for you. Each song is worth the space it takes up on the CD.
I was very happy with this purchase...and highly recommend the newer stuff too
