Album Notes

Drawing on influences from folk legends to underground hardcore heroes, 25 year old singer/songwriter Brian Fitzpatrick has created a record that is quite unlike anything that currently exists in the modern rock landscape.

"I don't feel we reinvented the wheel or anything, but I do feel we made a very honest record...maybe too honest" he laughs. "There is so much music out there nowadays, that you just have to do your thing regardless."

With song styles ranging from roots rockers like Broken Heart Reprise, to percussive driven steam trains such as Bring On The Pain, to Jamaican style spiritual hymns like Jah Song, the recording ventures into many different areas yet maintains a cohesiveness via the expert musicianship and the authenticity of the songs themselves.

Having paid his dues early in his music career touring America and Europe with various hardcore bands, Brian comes full circle on his first solo effort to where he began at the tender age of 11, writing songs that are melodic with a definitive lyrical style and sound.

I really like this album. I think the lyrics are really heartfelt and sincere. It's funny, cause ordinarily I am into harder edged music but I really do like this CD.
