"Five Minute Sin's hard Southern rock... think Skynyrd with bone crunching distortion."
We spent many 13 hour days in a row grinding out licks and lyrics to get this album out for everyone to enjoy. Many thanks to Roadrunner Duplication and Eagle Rock Studio for making this possible.
We are only offering this album digitally, but if you go to http://cdbaby.com/cd/fiveminutesin2 you can pick up the physical album and a music DVD for the same price. The release is called Gravestone.
We are looking forward to releasing a new album with new songs later this year, so keep your ears open. If you want to know when its out, drop us a line and we'll keep you in the loop.
Turn it up and enjoy!
Here's a little bit about the band.
Jesse "Zen"
Jesse is the frontman of the group. He takes care of the vocals and rhythm guitar. He screams out his lyrics with the intensity of Morrison and range of Chris Cornell. Oh yeah, he throws down some wicked solos too. Though we all have our abstract thoughts, Jesse brings the virtue of the Bodhi.
Frans "Voodoo"
Voodoo takes his name from a long, prolonged detachment from the senses experienced on the beaches of Ibiza. It is rumored that some sort of Voodoo, perhaps the spell of a women, or even a deal with eternity itself, came back with him from the island. Regardless, some voodoo must be behind his twisting, screaming, distored and often chaotic guitar leads. Voodoo also brought stories which inspire many sin songs.
"Diamond" Dan
On the 4-string Diamond Dan drops the brahmanatic pulse of Five Minute Sin. Pouring out funky and melodic bass lines like perspiration, Diamond Dan twists the lines of pornstar and rockstar.
The Bart
Bart throws down beats like a madman with his hair on fire. He's the drummer for Five Minute Sin and got his name because there is no other way to describe him... "The Bart." Drinking Jager and going crazy are his hobbies.

I really dig this one. Best underground band I have heard in a while.

I picked up a copy of this CD at one of FMS's live shows a few months ago. I've played it on repeat in my CD player almost non-stop. I miss the old days of hard-rock, but these guys bring it back, in a new sort of way. I highly recommend
