Often described as a modern version of classic rock, this Atlanta quartet prides itself on the special connection they are able to make with people of all types. Traditional and not so traditional music fans alike are drawn to the band’s ability to deliver music that is positive but not preachy, while clearly coming from the heart. Perhaps it is the soulful rock melodies, sharp songwriting and searching lyrics that refreshingly touch on themes everyone relates to, such as personal accountability, social commentary and communication that has attracted 5si’s uniquely supportive and enthusiastic fans. Five Star Iris' "B-Sides The Point" is the result of the band's tireless drive to create new music in the studio. The EP showcases several different sides of the band and features brand new material along with stripped-down intimate versions of 5si favorites.
