Ths is the music of the opposition. Opposition to the peace movements of the 60 s agsinst the Viet Nam War and our military actions in the Middle East. It is a return to the music of my youth. I recently received a CD from the old band: Andrew Peirce-guitar, Ralph Boccagno-Drums, Artie Guerrio-keyboards and sessions with Ray DeTone-guitar recorded in 1975- 1976 at our homes and studios in Little Italy ,Bronx New York...a place now gone but not forgotten and friends still remain. After being brainwashed by the British Invasion all those years ago and everyone else via TV ,Radio,Satellites ..so on and so forth I tried to come up with something new ,independent and original..but today there is a new problem..spying...piracy...mindcontrol...rip offs etc. and I did the entire CD with headphones soundproofedly...Welcome to the Future..It sucks ..Mr. Frank J. Stola. Free your unconcious and write original independent music. Track 1 is based on a classical keyboard riff from a jam in the local music store on a new keyboard. Track 2 is based on a jazz rock keyboard riff from an old pattern on a new keyboard in a spur jam improvisation in a local music store. Track 3 is based on old electric piano and new immersion influenced college free jam keyboard style. Track 4 is based on classical keyboard instrumental and orchestral riff which was multitrack elaborated. It was free formed jammed composed with broken rythm techniques. People : try to be blank slates and compose original music not confined and finite or confined by instruments but infinite. Thats it for now...fjs!
