Album Notes

Future Kings & Queens is the new studio endeavor from Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Dickie, in which he produces & performs all music in the intimacy of his own home environment. Formed in 2007, Future Kings & Queens is a dark, edgy guitar-meets-electronics modern rock project heavily influenced by Dickie's retro, new wave roots. The resulting sound is quite diverse and has been compared to The Killers, Death Cab For Cutie, Depeche Mode, early Cure, and even Prince. FK&Q’s debut CD, "The Day The World Died" was released on April 1, 2008 and the first single, "Mantissa," garnered commercial radio airplay in the U.S.. Future Kings & Queens second CD "Rhapsodies and Requiems" arrives on April 1, 2009.
