Flea Circus, a group so wonderfully evocative of the golden age of lounge music, is an instrumental lounge/jazz band that has been entertaining New York audiences for nearly three years. Making their first worldwide musical contribution, Flea Circus is glad to announce its debut CD release, My Vinyl Youth.. This CD provides a broad range of lounge styles, giving unique treatments to Bossa Nova, boogaloo, funk, tango, middle-eastern, and even spacey trip-hop. Sometimes quirky, sometimes intense, the music always maintains a strong melodic concept, which gives the listener something to smile and whistle along to.
