Ain't the Worst that You Could Find: One of those Perfect Musical Moments...
author: Kevin Robinson/No Bull Productions
When I first heard this CD by George Fletcher & the Handsome Men it reminded me of a long-ago Monday night blues jam in Kansas City. Just the right combination of musicians, playing just the right music, at just the right time. First the bar cleared and everyone brought their drinks to the front of the stage. Next, one table at a time, the adjacent restaurant customers left their half eaten meals and flowed through the bar to join the crowd. A moment later, the wait staff, the cooks, and the manager shoved their way into the bar and stood staring like everyone else. A perfect musical moment. George Fletcher, Rick Mullens and Dennis "100%" Cotton created a whole CD like that!
