Album Notes

Fletcher & Manzi's original acoustic music is an eclectic blend of blues, jazz and R & B. They perform in New York City and throughout New England. Veteran performers, Rob and Lou teach guitar, harmonica and songwriting at the prestigious National Guitar Workshop.

In the summer of 2002, they co-taught a Blues Grooves seminar with Debbie Davies, nominated for a 2002 W.C. Handy Blues Award for Contemporary Female Artist of the Year. Their delightful debut album Horsin'Around Live (Life is Swell Music) was released in January 2003.

Rob Fletcher is an exceptional singer, harmonica player and guitarist who has performed with Trey Anastasio of Phish as well as blues great Ronnie Earl. He played at Woodstock 94, opened for the Crash Test Dummies, and is a columnist for American Harmonica. Rob is the author of several music instructional books including Blues Grooves for Guitarists and Blues Harmonica for Beginners.

Lou Manzi has been performing his original and dynamic style of acoustic blues since the 1970s. He is a noted author with four fingerstyle guitar books to his credit, including Beginning Fingerstyle Guitar. Lou has also performed with Ronnie Earl, is recognized as a leading teacher of acoustic guitar, and offers numerous seminars throughout the United States on blues music and guitar education.
