Flexx first sprang into the spotlight with his debut CD “MC Flexx: Hope For The Lost.” He then followed up with “So Real,” which drew critical acclaim for his powerful lyrics and beats debuting at #5 on Billboard’s Best New Album charts. His junior release, “Hiding Place,” held steady until his anticipated project “God Is On My Side” released in April 2004 on MIG Records/SONY. Flexx’s ‘God is on My Side’ cut is on the Westcoast Aftershock Vol 2 compilation project with Crooked I, and other greats.
*With the opportunity to open for superb artists as Al Green, The Williams Brothers, Rance Allen, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Missy Elliot and John Tesh, to appearances with Michael Bolton, Tonex, and Celine Dion to Mama’s Temple Choir to name a few, “FLEXX” is certainly no stranger to the music industry.
In addition to his solo career, “FLEXX” travels with the Extreme Tours and Save the Youth Tours.
He also represented Utah on Washington Square at the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics.
“FLEXX” dedicates all his projects to his grandmother the late Dr. Rosemary Redmon Cosby better known as “Mama,” and puts God first in everything he does.
