'Flipper Dave' has been performing mint original jam rock for over a decade. Hailing from New Hartford, CT since 1994 the band has played from Maine to Colorado. Describing themselves as 'road of life rock' they play blisteringly high-energy live shows infused with catchy choruses, infectious grooves & astounding musical pyrotechnics. 'Something Simple' catches the band in the studio in 2002 at their peak, with hooky alt-country anthems about drinking, debauchery, loneliness, loss, love, road trips, and oh yeah, your first minibike.

The relentlessly crafted set of fifteen tunes included on 'Something Simple' are the result of five years touring of the New England bar and festival scene for this legendary Connecticut jam band. Newcomers to the music of Flipper Dave and lovers of jam rock will rejoice and be blown away by the epicness contained herein. The members of Flipper Dave are Brett Connors on guitar and vocals, Glen Nelson on keyboards, Steve Battistoni on drums, and Mike Sherman on bass.
