One of the Best Kept Secrets
author: FNM Fan
Floater is one of those bands that if you know 'em, you love 'em. Everyone else probably hasn't heard them yet. They have a true cult following, and it still puzzles me why they aren't more widely known. The Sad Ballad of Danny Boy may be the one song many people know. Do yourself a favor and check these Oregonians out. 5 stars!

A masterpiece with instantly recognizable and unique style
author: Sami Ollas (Helsinki, Finland)
This album grabbed my attention from the very first seconds and couldn't let go even once before it ended. It's rare to come up with an album that flows as well as this one, especially from a band that doesn't reserve praise from the music press all over the world. To top that, there's a great mix of different kinds of songs, some of which wouldn't sound out of place in a Tool album, and others that could fit on a darker Pink Floyd album. Yet Floater manage to sound completely unique, while combining those dark and psychedelic aspects in their music.
Highly recommended to anyone who doesn't hold music as just something for the background.
